The Bobath concept is based on the assumption that the human brain is capable of reorganizing itself. Brain regions that have not been affected by the condition can take over additional functions from the affected regions and relearn them. The aim of Bobath therapy is to help patients regain control over muscle relaxation and movement, thereby re-stimulating interrupted connections to the control centers in the brain.<\/p><p class=\"first:mt-1.5!\">Bobath therapy prescribed by a physician may only be carried out by certified physiotherapists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists. These therapists have completed specialized Bobath courses and successfully passed the required teaching and learning assessments.<\/p><p class=\"first:mt-1.5!\">Unlike other therapeutic concepts, the Bobath concept does not involve standardized exercises. The focus is on individualized, everyday therapeutic activities that support the patient throughout their daily routine.
